In the 1890s, John Kennedy Lynch built a distilling business in Oswego, New York. His JKL & Sons and Lynch’s Golden Wedding whiskeys warmed hearts and homes across the state — until Prohibition silenced the stills and ended the family trade for a century.

Rick Lynch is his great-great-grandson. With his wife Gia Gennari-Lynch, he founded Everwild Spirits on the shore of Lake Erie in Sandusky, Ohio — answering that century of silence and picking the business back up where the family was forced to put it down.

Seekers is aged, blended and bottled on the shore of Lake Erie in Sandusky. The proofing water rises through the same limestone shelf that made Sandusky’s Crystal Rock beer famous a century ago, and our toasted-finish barrels are new charred American white oak, hand-built at Speyside Cooperage in Jackson, Ohio. And the next chapter is already in the barrel: All Ohio — grown, distilled, aged and bottled entirely by us — arrives in 2027.

The result is Seekers — an award-winning line of bourbons: Straight (silver medals at the New York and San Francisco World Spirits Competitions), Wheated Bottled in Bond at 100 proof (silver, San Francisco), Toasted Oak Cask Finished (double gold, San Francisco) and Single Barrel Cask Strength at 118 proof (gold, San Francisco) — alongside Nautika, a dangerously smooth premium vodka.
